Each day we must perform an EVA to make our Engineering Systems Check. We take many measurements of power levels, water levels, transport and HAB systems to make sure everything is working as it should. Things take time on Mars - just to get outside means putting on our suits, carrying out equipment and radio checks, and waiting in the airlock until pressure is equalised.
